The Michigan Fashion Media Summit talks about the changes in the fashion industry, the intersection of fashion and media

The Michigan Fashion Media Summit (MFMS) was held on Friday at the Ross School of Business. The event featured key industry conversations, networking opportunities with the world’s biggest brands, and a student showcase for emerging talent.

The day before, an exclusive launch party sponsored by Curateur, a major shopping pass, was held at the UMMA. The event offered guests complimentary curated gift bags and the opportunity to get a HeyRowan piercing.

Prior to the start of MFMS in April 2018, the University of Michigan did not have a platform to connect students with career options in the retail industry. MFMS decided to center the summit on inviting the best talents and brands in the industry to show students not only where fashion has been, but also where it is going.
