The bored monkey moves into collectibles and toy beauty

Bored Ape Yacht Club has become an undisputed force, a leader at the forefront of the web3 world. Last week, the hugely popular NFT project released a collection of coveted vinyl art toys. And as for the beauty, the collaboration between two owners of BAYC NFT and Glamor Dolls will fall this week.

Yuga Labs’ Bored Ape Yacht Club and Superplastic, the world’s leading creator of animated celebrities, vinyl toys and digital collectibles, have teamed up for a collection of vinyl art toys.

The “SuperBored” vinyl collectibles feature five caricatures in the BAYC universe, 13 inches in size and priced at $ 222. Superplastic and is currently sold out.

Special editions were available for BAYC and Superplastic NFT holders. Each collector’s item was only available for 15 minutes: “BAYC Curtis” for BAYC NFT owners; “Superplastic Skipper” for owners of Superplastic Cryptojankyz and Headtripz NFT; ‘MAYC Curtis’ for MAYC NFT holders; and the general public got access to “Public Curtis” and “Public Skipper”.

And in an unexpected but tantalizing crossover, the owners of BAYC NFT have also partnered with independent beauty brand Glamor Dolls for a collection of hair and skin care products. The new Glamor Dolls Flower collection features Bored Ape # 8240 and Bored Ape # 772, which offer a range of face creams and body mousses to massage candles.

Last year, Peter Georgotas, CEO of Glamor Dolls, was contacted by creative director Pinar Lacroix about the thriving NFT world and its possibilities.

“She realized the potential even before anyone was looking at it, and she believed connecting with a beauty brand was a great way to introduce more women and non-binary people to space,” said Georgotas. High snobbery.
