The red carpet of the 2022 Oscars was literally red, from dresses to dresses, but the beauty looks had a certain versatility. Some celebrities have enjoyed experimenting with new hairstyles, others have given us face and still others have made me jealous of their perfect brows (hello, Zoë Kravitz). Here are the best beauty looks on the red carpet this year.

Chloe and Hailey win for always knowing how to change positions. Tonight they opted for buns: Chloe with a dramatic textured bun finished with more relaxed baby hair and Halle, the birthday girl with a textured curly bun with shades of golden brown intertwined.

If you’re planning on attending an awards show, at least look good while doing it. Kourtney Kardashian got the job done with her short “do”. It was an elegant touch to her vintage black strapless mugler gown.

It is elegant, sharp and perfectly colored. Bobs are usually popular on a red carpet, but Serena’s hands down take the crown for it.

There were so many to choose from, but Tracee’s bold red lipstick was the defining feature of her subtle makeup. What about her red dress? Perfection.

Have you ever seen such perfect brows? Zoë’s pink eyeshadow and her swooping bang were gorgeous, but that seductive arc in her thick, dreamy brows stole the show. Thin brows may be “in”, but these could never go out of style.

When it comes to eyeshadow, Megan Thee Stallion will always have a wrinkled look. And tonight’s nude pink shade look will see all TikTokers recreate it by morning.

Zendaya can’t go wrong. This silver smokey eye was cheese smoky enough to highlight her face, yet subtle enough not to take away from her stunning looks. Her gloss was also the perfect finish.

Let’s be honest, Lupita always kills on the red carpet. Tonight’s structured updo made of locs was simply art.

Sofia loves a side shot for her red carpet moments and I can see why. She is elegant, she is snug, she is everything. I don’t know how much hairspray it took to get her to lay so flat despite being so shiny, but sign me up!

Apparently the side parts are old and the middle parts are inside? Of course, Becky G knows how to make a perfect part in the center of her head. She is beautiful.

SHE may have had on her infamous shades, but there was no way to hide that winged eyeliner that was designed to perfection. Cobalt blue was also an unexpected twist with her green jewelry: a glam killer against those blue tinted glasses.

Spring is the season of change and Tiffany Haddish has proven she is ready. Her blonde hair fits so well with her skin tone and the waves from her fingers complement it. I’m starting a petition to have her wear her hair like this on every red carpet – do you want to sign?
