While fans typically identify 18-year-old Siwa with a gorgeous look with side ponytails and a huge hair bow, this isn’t the first time she’s changed her look. The star showed fans a different side of her in April 2020 when she showed a muted appearance in a TikTok video. The video showed Siwa sporting relaxed waves and a black tee, a stark comparison to her gleaming and metallic look of hers.
Showbiz met Siwa for the first time in 2013, when she appeared as a contestant on the “Dance Moms” spinoff “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” before landing a role as a regular “Dance Moms” series in 2015.
In 2017, Nickelodeon signed a talent deal with Siwa, which resulted in the 2018 animated series about her and her dog, “The JoJo and BowBow Show Show.” She also worked with Nick Cannon on “Lip Sync Battle Shorties” and voiced her on “The Angry Birds Movie 2” in 2019.

More recently, Siwa made a sensation as a budding LGBTQ icon. Her stint in “Dancing with the Stars”, which saw her compete with a professional partner, paved the way for ABC’s ballroom dance competition, as she was the first gay couple featured in the series.
“I have a girlfriend who is the love of my life and who is everything to me,” Siwa told USA TODAY at the time of her relationship with Kylie Prew. “My journey of coming out and having a girlfriend has inspired so many people around the world. I thought that if I chose to dance with a girl on this show, I would break the stereotype. It would be new, different and it would change. the better it is “.
Siwa revealed on the “This Is Paris” podcast in November 2021 that she and Prew broke up, but told host Paris Hilton that there is no bad blood between them: “She’s literally still my best friend.” During an appearance on the “Rachel Uncensored” podcast in late March, Siwa shared that she is currently seeing someone.
“We’re not single. I say ‘we are’ because it’s me and my multiple personalities inside of me,” Siwa joked to host Rachel Ballinger. “I’m not single and I don’t want to socialize. No, I’m a loyal woman.”
