Sheguang Hu conquers the world of fashion by winning the World Cultural Communication Fashion Designer Award at the Dutch Lion Awards

On April 2, the gala of the Dutch Lion Awards 2022 was successfully held at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Focusing on the global fashion industry, the Dutch Lion Awards 2022 aim to recognize established designers and strengthen emerging fashion talent. It is an internationally influential fashion award ranked after London, New York, Milan and Paris.

The Dutch Lion Awards 2022 announced the most influential awards in the fashion industry, including “Dutch Designer of the Year, Dutch Emerging Talent, Dutch Model of the Year, Dutch Accessories Designer of the Year and Dutch Fashion Leader”. An independent professional jury determined the final winners after several rounds of discussion and selection.

The 2022 Dutch Lion Awards fashion gala was a true night of star gathering that saw eminent figures from the global fashion industry, celebrities, KOLs, media, entertainers and fashionistas celebrated together on April 2 at the Beurs van. Berlage.

World-renowned fashion designer and performance artist Sheguang Hu, Spanish artist and designer Caroline Aziz Senegal presented two extraordinary haute couture shows at the Dutch Lion Awards gala.

Designer Sheguang Hu won the “World Cultural Communication Stylist” award for his avant-garde style and outstanding performance. With his love and obsession with fashion for nearly 30 years, he seamlessly integrated Chinese elements into design, created his distinctive style, blossomed and shone on the international fashion scene. As an outstanding student at the Amsterdam Academy of Arts, he has grown to become an international master of fashion design; from “master of design” to “performance artist” to “world cultural communication stylist”, Sheguang Hu has never stopped making progress. He draws inspiration from his daily life, from what he feels, sees and thinks. he creates one after another splendid masterpieces that immensely impress the world.

To observe the production of Jun articles, he lived in the Jun furnace for six months; to understand the origin and development of cheongsam, he has read countless books; to understand the traditional Mongolian customs, he went to every library in Hohhot and consulted experts and scholars of ethnic customs. Designer Sheguang Hu believes that fashion without the support of cultural heritage is hollow and pale. It is reported that the trophy for the Lion Awards winners is a stunning bronze lion sculpture designed by Amsterdam artist Chris Tap, hoping to inspire all the winners of the global fashion industry.
