Spring has officially begun, which means it’s time to kick off spring fashion trends and embrace the new season’s styles. Wondering which trends are worth investing in this year? Don’t worry, because I’ve collected 7 of the hottest spring trends, straight from the runways in New York, Paris, London and Milan.

Get ready to show some skin this spring and summer, as the cutouts were all over the runways. Designers like Stella McCartney included asymmetrical cutouts and shapes, and elsewhere in shows like Prabal Gurung and David Koma, backs, hips, hips and more were all on display with artistic cutouts.
Get the look: Audrey’s long cut dress from the gang of wolves
Give your classic black dress a spring 2022 update with this fun take on The Wolf Gang. Featuring a side slit and a cut-out detail to the back, you’ll want to wear it for all your summer events.
If there is one trend that is being talked about for 2022, it is the micro mini skirt popularized by Miu Miu. Nicole Kidman, Hailey Bieber, Saweetie, and just about every fashion influencer in the world sported a version of this cheeky (perhaps literally) skirt that combines our current fascination with year 2000 classics and prep school-inspired style. Not everyone will like this look, but it sure is an amazing style statement.
Get the look: Storets Mya skirt with interior pocket
Storets has a budget version of the ultra-mini trend that’s even more wearable for everyday life. I love the detail of the pockets that are too long. Wear it with an oversized knitted sweater or focus on reduced proportions with a cropped top.
Vibrant colors were all over the spring runways, including electric green, bright pink and my favorite, vibrant orange. Orange can be an intimidating color for some, especially if you tend to gravitate towards neutrals, but I highly recommend diving into the colorful side of things and sporting some orange this season.
Get the look: Gaia Nadeesha cult dress
This stunning dress from Cult Gaia combines the orange color trend with the cut-out trend mentioned earlier. It’s a great option for tropical vacations and warm weather weddings alike.
4) Small top, big jacket
Do you already hear a theme in this year’s trends? In short, Spring 2022 is all about having fun with fashion and showing off some leather in unexpected ways, and that goes for the “little top, big jacket” look too. A bralette or bikini paired with an oversized menswear-inspired blazer is a cool combination.
Get the look: NIA Carmen Bralette
This bralette from NIA will look great on its own or paired with an oversized blazer.
5) Feathers and fringes
Time to move with feathers and fringes that move with you. Whether it’s a full skirt embellished with layers of feathers or a top with fringed sleeves, don’t be afraid to wear dynamic pieces.
Get the Look: Rebecca Minkoff Feather Mini Skirt
You can’t go wrong with a feather mini skirt. This can be worn for a night out, but I think it would look equally good with the “small top, big jacket” trend to tackle two popular styles in one outfit.
6) Low waist
That’s right, low-rise skirts and pants were all over the spring runways. If you’ve never been a fan of this look in the early 2000s, you can skip this one, but if you’re ready for a break from high-waisted jeans and skirts, why not mix things up?
Get the Look: GRLFRND Hailey Jeans with low rise slim boot
These low rise jeans are the pair I wish I had in the early 2000s.
7) Rebirth of the year 2000
Hipster jeans aren’t the only year 2000-inspired trend that has returned to the mainstream. Motifs of butterflies, colorful sunglasses, chiffon and lots of pink – consider them all back.
Discover the look: Blumarine Euphoria t-shirt
As the name suggests, this Blumarine T-shirt was worn by Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie) in the last season of Euphoriaa show known for setting the zeitgeist of style and deeply inspired by the fashion trends of the early 2000s. This top is the perfect combination of nostalgic style And cool current.
