Makeup By Mario MoistureGlow Plumping Lip Serum
I strongly believe that all you need on your lips during the summer is a lip gloss, and this delicately pigmented. lip plumping serum from Mario’s makeup it’s my piece to wear every day. Its oily base is ultra moisturizing without being viscous or sticky. It simply offers a nice clear wash of dewy color, but not so much that you are worried about reapplying or putting it on your clothes. And because the colors are so natural, I also like the way it fades out because it won’t leave an outlined border around the lip line; it will slowly fade. I have light skin with olive undertones and wear the mauve-purple Mocha Glow, although there are six other inclusive shades in the line.
Bumble and bumble Prêt-to-Shampoo in powder form
Spending long weekend days in the summer sun is heavenly, but it tends to make our hair look greasier and shinier at lightning speed. Instead of washing my fine type 2 hair every day, I dry shampoo my seasonal best friend and haven’t found a better option than this. Bumble and bumble masterpiece. I was a super fan of their OG dust, but this new and improved spray version is a dream come true and also protects the strands from UV rays. The spray comes out clear, not ghostly white, requiring minimal mixing, and the pink clay instantly absorbs oil and grime while volumizing the roots for a freshly washed look. But what really pushes it over the edge of perfection is that it’s great for fine, thick, straight, wavy and curly hair.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Clarifying spot treatment
Dr. Barbara Sturm the fast-acting color spot treatment, available in three shades, is a makeup and skincare hybrid formulated with acne-eliminating ingredients, such as tea tree oil and zinc oxide , in addition to vitamin B3 to accelerate cell turnover, making pimples disappear faster. On a bad skincare day when I need to cover a pimple, but I don’t want to put makeup on it and make it worse, this is what I look for both to cover the redness and to combat the offensive blemish.
Tan-Luxe The Face Illuminating Drops
Do you want a tan but not sun damage? We have you – simply mix two or three of these personalized self-tanning droplets – depending on the desired bronze shade – in the moisturizer or serum and apply as usual, revealing a more hydrated skin with a smoother texture and a radiant, radiant range. It is available in two shades: light / medium and medium / dark, and for a more intense bronze just add a few more drops. And unlike most other self tanners, this one smells delicious, a key factor as we’re rubbing it all over our face.
La Mer The broad spectrum UV protective fluid SPF 50
We know, we know – the price – but listen to us. Summer is already the best time for acne flare-ups and you’ll be soaping (or should!) Your face with sunscreen every day, so shouldn’t that be a quality skin care sunscreen? We think so, and by the end of the summer, our skin and even our complexion speak for themselves. This sunscreen it has all the main ingredients of your traditional La Mer product, including the proprietary Miracle Broth, and unlike most other sunscreens, it’s silky and light, without the dreaded zinc puff. You can use it under makeup or on top without stopping the application.
Ellis Brooklyn Salt Eau de Parfum
Just as we replace skincare seasonally, it’s also fun to set aside the heady ouds and patchouli with the lighter, beachier scents. Ellis Brooklyn it’s one of my favorite brands and I was skeptical about this perfume at first because I tend to stick to deeper aromas than fresh ones, but somehow this perfume is the best of both worlds. It still employs my beloved strong notes, like organic ambergris, but balances it with touches of sweet Tahitian tiare and warm sandalwood and musk that smells like salty leather on a tropical island in bloom. It is the fresh and summery scent for people who usually don’t like fresh and summery scents.
Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping and Hydrating Moisturizing Cream
One of Sephora’s all-time bestsellers, by Tatcha Moisturizer is the gold standard for a feather-light summer face cream that hydrates to the max without a hint of heaviness or stickiness. My chronically dry skin absorbs this hyaluronic acid and the Okinawan seaweed melts like a glass of water, creating a glowing, dewy skin tone that I feel confident rocking without a touch of makeup. But for the days when I want some coverage, I never have to worry about caking or flaking after using this moisturizer first.
Prisme Libre loose powder by Givenchy
It’s a fine line between glowing, radiant skin and a greasy party, and on days when your skin starts to become oily, a fast-acting face powder will set you back to neutral. Givenchy’s face powder it combines four different shades, two for color correction and two for brightness, so even if you’re mattifying your complexion, you’ll still retain a healthy sheen. Don’t be nervous about using this powder because it’s weightless and totally transparent, but don’t take my word for it: in clinical studies, 98% of women found that it looked natural and felt invisible.
Lawless Conseal the Deal Concealer
My love for this Lawless product is well known, and I can’t get enough of it, which isn’t too surprising since the company is one of the fastest growing brands in Sephora. I rarely leave the house without covering my pimples and redness, e this natural looking serum-like concealer it completely covers blemishes without looking like I’ve done anything to my skin. A solid concealer is one of the few makeup products I use daily in the summer, and this is my new number one.
YSL Touche Eclat All-over lightening corrector pen
This YSL illuminating pen it has been a staple in my makeup kit since college. Available in 14 shades, this DIY twisty pen can be used as a liquid highlighter or under-eye highlighter. I like to use it over the under-eye concealer to give my eyes a little extra glow, as well as on the top of the cheekbones and along the bridge of the nose, using my finger to pat and blend, for light coverage and a radiant reflection. A Sephora MUA gave me this advice the first time I bought it and I’ve been applying it this way ever since: starting from the upper cheekbone, apply the liquid to tiny X shapes across the ear and blend for a more flawless finish than if you just drew a straight line.
